"Sure you can count on me!" Harumi says happily in response to Rooi's words. She smiled and looked over her shoulder at Kathia and said, "Don't worry, Rooi. She's not going anywhere." Sora only peacefully nodded and walked toward the tree where Kathia was sitting. "Be careful everyone." She said as Harumi sat with her. They both peacefully stared at the sky as everyone else left.

Rooi gave them a nod and said, "Alright then, see you back, gals!" Then she went deep into the woods to hunt game and find fruits. Rooi walked quietly with stealth as she needed to be sneaky as to not alert prey to her presence. On her way, she found a blackberry bush and started to pick some berries off the bush.

Drake and Ronan picked up twigs, logs, and even cut down a few tree branches. "Why is it difficult for you to talk about your past Ronan?" Drake asked out of curiosity. Ronan sighed before saying,"I don't want or need pity from others......the pain of the memory only gives me strength and a deeper fury for vengeance." He hated remembering, but he felt it was necessary in order to complete his mission of so-called 'justice'. The two returned to camp and started making a deep fire. Making sure to avoid causing a forest fire.

After gathering the blackberries and then the picking a few apples off the tree, Rooi put the fruits in the bag and went off to go hunting. She came to a river and saw some outlines of fish in the water. Recalling her experiences from catching fish in Ikefuma, Rooi took out her glaive and walked to the edge of the river. She thrust the glaive down at one of the fish and caught it in the blade's tip. The other fish, seeing the attack, had swam away quickly in fright. (Here comes the lazy part now) Rooi followed the fish and stabbed some more until she had enough fish to feed everyone. She put all the fish in the bag and went off back to camp. "Hey guys, I'm back! And look what I got," Rooi said before she opened up the back of fish, blackberries, and apples. "Fish for dinner, and fruits for dessert! I couldn't find any spices in the woods, so I guess we're all going to have to make due with a bland meal." "Ho ho, that sounds like an appetizing dinner," Kathia said sarcastically. "Shut it, Kathia. Must you always be so grumpy?" Rooi retorted in an annoyed manner. "I wouldn't be if you didn't tie me up to freakin' tree!" Kathia said.

"That sounds yummy, Rooi." Harumi said. She and Sora walked over to where Rooi was holding the food."I'm so glad you're back. I was beginning to get bored."She stood for a second before remembering what she needed to get. She ran over to her pack and pulled out a dusty notebook. "I made a map of the woods. When I was younger I used to come here all the time so I made a map. Now we'll always know where we're going." She smiled, very pleased with her elaborately drawn map. "What do you think?"

Harumi, in contrast to what Kathia said, said that the food Rooi brought sounded yummy. Then she took out a map of the woods that she drew as a little kid. Rooi smiled and said, "That's great! That way when we need to go back into the city, we'll know where to go." Then she thought, 'And when I get back into the city late at night, I'll be going to rescue those dragons at the slave market as the Free Shadow.'

When Rooi mentioned the city, Harumi gasped. "What do you mean go back?!" She stared straight at Rooi, took a deep breath, and continued. "I cannot go back there. My parents will be waiting there to take Sora from me and enslave her." While Harumi was struggling to stay calm, Sora was facing the ground. She looked up and stated five quiet words, "We'll do what we must."

Harumi looked at Rooi as if she was crazy and said that she can't go back to the city because her parents will see Sora and try to enslave her. "Relax, you don't have to return to the city if you don't want to. I was just saying that I could use the map sneak back into the city tonight and free the dra--" Rooi said before she quickly clasped her hands to her mouth before she could say anymore. Kathia was within range of earshot. If the redhead had heard what Rooi was about to say, then Kathia would pass this knowledge on Rooi being the infamous Free Shadow to the authorities and land Rooi in jail.

After finishing with the new campfire, Ronan returned to the same spot he stood at away from the group. He was still upset about the memories of his past. Drake sighed looking to him. He looked to Rooi and a plan entered his mind. Drake nudged Rooi before whispering,"Talk to him. He could use a friendly face to ease his mind." He smirked at her.

Rooi shaved some sticks and stuck each fish onto the sticks. Then she put them right by the campfire to cook. She felt a nudge from the side of her back and turned to see Drake whispering to her to talk to Ronan. Rooi looked at Ronan who seemed to be gloomy right now before replying to Drake, "Sure, I'll go talk to him." Then she went over to where Ronan was and started a conversation with him in a cheery voice, "Hey Ronan, nice weather tonight, isn't it?" Rooi sat next to him and looked up at the stars and said, "Doesn't the sky look beautiful when you have all these stars twinkling at night. It really puts a romantic mood on."

Drake smirked watching the two talk before turning his view to the young ones. Ronan despite the company was still in a dark mood. "The sky only welcomes ones eyes when death isn't lingering in the night." Ronan said. He was having a tough time. He tried to hide his pain with thoughts of revenge.

Ronan was still in a dark mood. Recalling how Ronan left when Rooi brought up the introductory conversation, she guessed what was on his mind and said, "It's about your past, isn't it? Don't dwell on it; it's not good for your mind at all. It'll turn you into that uh... what was it? Emu (emo) or something kid I saw on the street." Rooi, being from another country, wasn't quite used to the cultural slang Rudvich had. "If there's anybody who died back then, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want to see you moping right now. They'd tell you to keep on smiling and move forward into the future. And you know why? Because they aren't really dead, they're still alive in spirit and in the afterlife. My father used to tell me a story about the ghosts of people who died. He said that even if we can't see them anymore, they are still here with on this planet in our memories, hearts, and in spirit. They're always watching us and looking after us too," she said.

Ronan tightened his fist. "You don't understand so don't bother." He snapped at her. "You don't know what I've been through...what I've seen. Don't bother trying to get to know me, you'll only get hurt." He stood up and went away from her but not very far.

Rooi flinched in shock when Ronan snapped at her. It was like having something in your chest getting stomped on. 'Ouch!' Rooi thought. Then as she watched the hooded man walk away, Rooi sighed and said herself, "I better leave him alone. Maybe he'll get over this by himself." Then she went to check on the fish and saw that it wasn't cooked yet because it was still early. Kathia snickered at Rooi's failure in cheering Ronan up and sneered sarcastically, "Well that went well, wouldn't you say?" Rooi retorted without looking at her, "Hmph! I'd like to see you do better. I'd bet you'd lose an arm or head trying it." "Hah! And why would I want to cheer him up? I could care less if that snake is upset, crying, or whatever," Kathia said. "Wow, you really are a witch. It makes me feel really sorry for all the slaves you own," Rooi said as she frowned with dislike. Then Rooi looked at the others and asked, "So anybody want to play a game while we wait for the fish to cook?"

Ronan didn't want help, but it was what he needed. Drake sighed but he wouldn't give up. He nudged Rooi again to get her attention. "He may act tough on the outside, but it's only to cover up a childhood pain within. He'll hate me for telling you this but he will get over it eventually. Ronan lost his family when he was young. The desert plains are full of raiders and cutthroats, they are a threat to most people and some dragons in the south. He and his parents and his siblings were home, a peaceful family. They were all murdered. Burned in their own house. Ronan was the only survivor. He seeks revenge for the death of his family and he knows his target is in the city. That's why we came here. The man seeks justice, but he wants to do it alone. What I ask of you, is to not give up on trying to help him. He will need it." Drake smirked at her. Ronan was leaning against a tree the whole time. He couldn't hear any of what Drake told Rooi.
