Aaron had long since broken away from teh crowd and was well on his way back to his mansion of a home. However not all was dandy with this rich kid, the buns had gone cold thanks to the ice breather from earlier and he was late thanks to his little stop in the resturant. His sister would be quite cross with him and while that didn't actually hold any real threat in and of itself he didn't like it when she was cross with him. So head hung in shame (which for this man actually meant nose not in the air) and only half the pompus in his strut he sullenly continued on his way home.
In the meantime:
the girl sort of had a point, there were devices for routing excess elextricity and after those there were devices for stopping flow altogether although Kat figured that's what the girl was hinting at, since fuses and breakers broke in order to preserve the machine. So all she could do was nod approvingly. The girl was bright, and her companion seemed clever enough. Although couldn't hold back a howling laughter at Vox's joke. "Truer words were never spoken Vox. Sadly I was bred in captivity so I never had the oppertunity." Katherine paused a moment and then spoke more softly to the pair. "Unless you were hinting at something just now." She asked full of curiosity and a hint of hope. "OI! YOU THERE GET BACK!" A circus hand came running towards the cages, a genuin look of frustration on his face. "You can come see the dragons tomorrow right now we are setting up so this area is employees only!" He called as he neared the trio.

"Right and by which I mean electricity stops flowing. See these people are a lot less competent than you think" Sam assured. "I don't know know- depends if you're up for it. With no electricity, breaking out of that cage shouldn't be too hard" Vox added. Sam looked around the area, "I'm no fanatic but I do enjoy troublemaking" she winked. She and Vox looked over at the man calling to them. Sam stood up again and brushed herself off. "Right... I'll be back tomorrow then" she said innocently. Sam patted Vox on the neck and they walked away.
Fayt was crouched on the ground in the shop, fixing a broken machine that had come in. By now he smelled of grease and dust, though that's pretty much what the whole shop smelt like anyways. He pulled a wrench from his tool belt, tightening a nut. The other employees had already warmed up to him, as well as most of the customers.
Meanwhile, Albel had taken to the rooftops. It was easier than walking through the crowd of dragon-haters. With Fayt not around, he was more likely to kill someone anyway. He stood on the edge of a roof, looking over the side at a circus that had just moved into town. He snorted at the appearance. Dragons in cages and people walking around in ridiculous outfits. "And they call US freaks" he muttered in an amused tone.

The hooded man caught Kathia's arm and knocked her out again. She slept for the rest of the ride. "Me too," said Rooi as she felt the same way as Drake was feeling. After a little while later, Ronan arrived with Kathia and Rooi said, "Ronan!" She went over towards him and said, "Looks like you made it out in one piece." Then she looked at Kathia and asked, "So what's she doing here?"
((I finished my Felix character sheet!))
Felix stood inside his own cage, which was next to Jay's. Like her, he was chained and shackled as well. 'Man, it's been a tough life, working all our lives as slaves to those humans. I sure can't wait until they get the Spell ready to release us for good,' said Felix telepathically to Jay.

Ronan dumped Kathia on the ground. "Brought this witch with me so she can better understand the wrong she has done." He hopped off the horse, directing it back to the city. "In what way do you intend to do this Ronan?" Drake asked. Ronan moved kathia against a tree before tying her hands with some rope he took from the horse.

"Bye then." Kat said warmly to the pair. the man on the other hand escorted them out of that area. "Look kid I know their fascinating but you can't go into eployee only areas. If ya like there are a few games set up and ready for business. It's free today but you won't get any prizes either." He said to sam kindly enough. Although he seemed to be eyeing Vox quite thoroughly.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
"I'm home!" Aaron said as he walked through the door to his home. His sister came up the stairs looking worn out and cross.. "What kept you? Did you bing the buns." Aaron nodded and Alex practically snatched them from his grip. "Cool your jets Alex, they got cold on the way here sorry." "Jeeze, they got cold. whatever, I will heat them up." Aarton made his way down the stairs where teh guards and Ayos were. Ayos was in a corner loking thoroughly beaten. "Seems like she got carried away again." He said to one of the guards. "Tsk, tell me about it. He snickered at her while she was trying to insult him so she totally let loose on the thing." "Well it's his own fault but still. Wish she would hold back a bit. Not gonna be much of a challenge if she breaks any of his bones." Alex came back down loking chipper with newly microwaved pork buns. "Pork buns all around." She began to pass out the snack to each of the guards and then to her brother.

"Games huh?" Sam murmured. She looked past the man and into the main of the circus. "Maybe" she added at the end. She had dismissed his comment about wandering around. Many people told her that. It wasn't like she actually followed directions that much anyways. She noticed the man was looking greedily over Vox. She looked at him with a smile though stone eyes. "Ever had an arrow crammed in your arse?" she asked, snapping the string of the bow that ran across her chest, holding the weapon on her back. Her quill rested over her right shoulder, easily in access. Vox causally looked away, trying not to smile from the blunt-ness.
Fayt finished fixing the machines that had broken and stood up. He wiped his brow and looked over at the clerk. "All done" the clerk walked over, looking at the machines. "... Well done" they murmured. "You can use the employee show if you'd like... I'll get the food" they added, noticing Fayt had a lot of grease on him. Fayt snickered and detached his tool belt.
Albel climbed down off the building. He noticed some sort of manager was distracted with a girl and walked into the main of the circus events. It wasn't like he had anything better to do at the time. He liked being in a crowd while his bounty was still high. He was always just looking. Seeing if anyone even dared. This was the only time he had to pick fights since Fayt was all over him about it at any other time. He watched as kids ran around playing the various games. They seemed to distracted to care about the hybrid, though a few adults led their children elsewhere. Albel wasn't sure why he was there. Perhaps it was just the smell of good food since he was hungry. Albel had a thing for sweets.

"Er!" The man chocked feeling a shiver run down his back. "If you'll now excuse me, I have work to do." He said maintaining his demeanor as he walked away to a collection of caravans where the staff lived. As he neared he called out to someone who was likely already there. "Oi Balgus! Come-ere I need to talk to ya." He rounded a corner and would be lost from Sam's sight.
"What the heck was that about?" One of the other dragons asked Kat after Sam and Vox left. "Juast a fan you could say." Kat responded cheerily. "Well, don't you sound chipper. Look Kat you should get your rest while you can. I mean with the way your magic is you really can't afford to be chatting it up with strangers. You still have to amaze over one hundred people multiple times tomorrow. Not to mention maintain all the extra illusions." The dragon speaking was something of a buzzkill but Kat had to admit he was right. "Yeah yeah." "Hey, dragons listen up." A fat man had arrived on the scene looking official like and stern. "What do you want pork rinde?" The man didn't hesitate to strike the cheeky dragon with a shock stick. "Oh yeeeaaahh, piss me off see what happens. Anyways, the fights have been moved up to tomorrow. Seems like the coppers here are sharp, they suspect somethings up, so fights will be starting right after the show tomorrow. If the police come snooping you keep yer heads down and your snouts shut. Anyone who complies will get two extra servings of food for one meal. Anyone who tries to sell us out gets to face up against Kat in the first round. Ya get me?" The dragons nodded in understanding except for Kat who had turned away. "Kat in your case if you try anything, we'll just kill ya. We already have another magi on order to replace your worn out hide, so try to stay on our good side ya hear." Kat sighed and without looking at the man gave a reluctant nod. The fat man walked away leaving the dragons to their thoughts.

Sam pushed her way through the crowd of the carnival. Kids swelled around the games, eager to play for free. "Sheesh... even if I wanted to play I doubt I could with these little monsters running around" she murmured to Vox. She knew kids could be quite vicious around certain things. Like candy.... or games. She moved on to the food stands. Sam nudged Vox with her elbow, "Hey, elephant ears!" she said, running up to the stand. She paid for one of the sweet treats and turned to Vox. She ripped off a piece of the cinnamon and powdered sugar sprinkled bread and fed it to Vox. He savored the taste with a dumb smile while Sam ate a piece. They took a seat on a nearby bench and pecked away at the bread. "Hey" she paused "Look who it is" she pointed to Albel, who seemed somewhat lost in the crowd. Since the crowd was loud, Sam whistled sharply to grab his attention. Albel's ears perked and he glanced her way. She beckoned him with her hand. Albel merely snorted in return. He didn't recognize her since no one had seen her at the incident but he knew her smell from the surrounding area. Sam snickered, amused. She pointed at the elephant ear. Albel briefly sniffed the air and found he liked the smell. With an added huff, he approached. She ripped a piece of the elephant ear and handed it to him as he got close. "So, hybrid... got a name? You must like attention, walking around with a bounty on you" she commented.
Fayt returned to the main shop with damp hair. The clerk handed him a bag of food. "Thanks" he said quietly. The clerk shrugged and returned to the front desk. Fayt left the shop, seeking his brother.

"Psst, Jack check out the girl ya mentioned earlier. Now she got two of em dragons." The man named Blagus was well built, clearly a muscle head. Jacky was the man who had escorted Sam away from the dragon's earlier. "No way that's a dragon Balgus. They don't walk about on their hind legs. But it certainly ain't human either." Jacky stated pondering Albel's existance. The pair were well off but had a view of Albel and Sam. "If it ain't a dragon nor a human what is it?" Jacky glared at his dimwitted companion. "How should I know? I just saw the thing now. Just like you. But so long as it don have a collar we should be well within our right s to snatch it." "What if it turns up to be a human that just dressed up?" Jack sighed, true at this point anything was viable but he hated the way Balgus doubted everything. "Look if your uncomfortable we'll just wait till he leaves and then club the girl over the head and snatch her dragon." Course both were totally unaware of Albels sharp hearing.

"Albel" he near grunted, not used to others talking to him. "Ah, I'm Sam and that's Vox" she said, giving another piece of bread to her dragon. "So why are you here? You don't seem like the ha-ha fun kind of guy" she asked. Albel's ears twitched as he picked up the nearby conversation. His expression didn't change since he was already near frowning anyway by default. He tapped his fingers against his side in silent thought. Albel didn't know or care for this girl. "Curious" he grumbled finally, looking away. She did give him some sweets, and was at least nicer than the other 'fools'. Albel had the mind to go over and tear the limbs off the thugs in hiding, but knew he would never hear the end of it from Fayt. Fayt usually had a limit of one problem per day. Albel's problems anyways which usually included murder. Then again, Fayt wasn't around. "You should go" Albel said, flickering his eyes to Sam. Sam paused, catching a certain tone. She thought back to what Kat said about others stealing Vox and caught the suddle warning. She finished off the elephant ear and climbed onto Vox, "Cya then" she nudged the dragon and he flew off. Albel turned towards the two men in hiding and drew his katana. He stalked towards them threateningly. "You got something to day, Fools?"
Fayt frowned as he was unable to find Albel. He came to the edge of the circus and stopped. Albel's scent had stopped there. It had become lost with the other scents of the crowd and heavy food aromas. "What in blazes is ALBEL doing at a circus!?" he exclaimed to no one in particular.

"Boiyoiyoiyoi she's gettin' away. I'll grab the net." Before Blagus could go anywhere Jack stopped him. "Don't be an idiot we have a crowd here. Boss said the cops were catching on to our theft not to mention the late night- whoawhoa." The people had cleared a path for the sword wielding hybrid after all...it was a sword. "In fact I do. I am here to ask you to please put that away and hand it over during your visit at Ronapuer traveling circus. It's unnerving our customers." He said only half lieing through his teeth. "You will be able to get it back at the entrance." Jack said trying desperately to keep his cool but anyone could see he was frieghtened.
Kat saw Sam and Vox flying overhead and out of the circus. She was glad that they didn't have a problem with the carnies.

Albel narrowed his red eyes into a death stare. He could practically smell the fear in the man. "If you're going to lie, don't talk in earshot beforehand, fool" he said in a gruff voice. Albel pointed the blade at the man's chest, "I'd like to see you TRY to take it. Not that it matters. I could tear you to shreds easily with my claws alone. You humans are so vulnerable" he added at the end, now hovering over the man. Albel was easily taller than most humans at 6'3. It only made him all the more intimidating. The hybrid grabbed the front of the man's shirt roughly, "Do something. I dare you" he said with a smirk, his hand twitching on the katana's handle.
Fayt walked through the crowd. He would have to use his eyes instead of his nose. Of course, Albel's rough, hateful voice hit his ears first. "Brother!" Fayt called, running towards the sound. "NO KILLING!" Fayt exclaimed, sliding to a halt behind Albel. His brother glared over his shoulder. It seemed like whenever Albel wanted to kill someone most, Fayt was magically there. He murmured under his breath, shoving the man he had a hold of away. Fayt took a few steps forward. "I just cant leave you alone, can I?" "Why do you always intervene?" "Because my Albel senses were tingling" Fayt retorted with a terrible pun. Albel rose a fist, making Fayt snicker and take a few steps back. Albel looked back to the men, "Get out of my sight, maggots"
"What a swell guy" Sam said quietly. "Was that sarcasm?" "... I don't know..." she thought quietly. Sure the hybrid was a jerk but he had warned them after all. "Back home then" he said, flying towards the family house on the friendlier side of town.

Jack was practically quivering with fear but Balgus stood up for his frightened comrad. "Look you either gotta hand over the weapon or leave. Dats the rules of participating in the circus. If you had left it in it's sleeve thingy-" "Scabberd." "Yeah scabberd. If you had left it in it's scabbard it woulda been fine but you drew it in the circus so now we gotta take it away." Balgus wasn't particularly bright but he had enough guts to stand up to the hybrid in spite of the blade. On top of that people were looking nervously at the group. A few parents ushered their children along trying not to draw the hybrid's attention. "A-And besides it's not like we're keeping it forever. You'll get it back when your done here." The two circus hands may have been found out by the hybrid but were skilled enough to keep to their story, a clear sign that something like this has happened before. Right now they were trying to make it look like Albel was the bad guy.

"And I'll say again, worm, you just try to make me hand my weapon over" he said more loud and stern. He didn't care for the people staring. Fayt on the other hand was looking around with a skeptical look. "Sure I'll put this blade somewhere. But here's a hint: it's not the scabbard" he smirked. Albel wasn't easily swayed to begin with, so he wasn't going to let them escape their guilt so easily. "What's the matter? You seemed so eager to put a collar on a dragon a few minutes ago. Look at you now, shivering in your boots. Pathetic" Fayt frowned at Albel. Typical day. At least he hadn't killed anyone yet. "Albel, it's hardly worth it. They're nearly all like this"
