((Okay Fallen, you got your first eidolon. Now pick another off the list.))
Alice said that eidolons, which she called summoned beings, were bound to artificial beings and are absorbed into them upon their defeat. "Wow, cool! So I get to summon eidolons like Carbuncle?" Deist asked. He was pretty excited about summoning creatures to help out the team. It had been awesome to see Rydia summon eidolons, now Deist was going to do the same thing too, but only after he absorbed a summoned being's soul. Come to think of it, where was his summonstone and who or what was going to be his monster? When Alice said that the mark on an artificial being expands, Deist asked, "Mark? What mark? I don't think I have one on me." He wasn't aware of a certain tattoo being on his chest. Kain looked at his son and said, "I'll see if you have one later." He was going to see where the mark on Deist was, but Kain figured that during shower or bath time would be better. Then Noel suggested that they should all rest, but Alice objected to the idea and said that they should keep on running from the scientists. "Yeah, your brother's right! What if we get exhausted on the run and the scientists find us? We won't have enough strength to fight!" Deist agreed with Noel. "You say this as if the scientists always know where we're at. Tell us, Alice. How is it that they are tracking down our location?" asked Kain. He needed to know about this so that they could figure out how to solve this problem and so that they can get to rest more easily with lesser problems from the pursuing scientists.

((Cerberus; I choose you!))
Alice raised her hand at the question of how the scientists knew where they were, "That would be me.." She answered, "They're able to track us by my presence." Alice then thought for a moment and that now her comrades would see her as an enemy more-so than ever, "The only smart thing to do right now would be taking a rest; we won't be prepared whether we're tired or fully rested but the least we can do is keep guards."
"Like a rotation." Noel added, "I'll volunteer to take the first shift, I'm not that tired as of now so I can wait a few hours to get some sleep."

((Okay, I'll make that reserved for you.))
When Alice said that the scientists can use Alice's presence to track her down, the dragoons, mostly Deist, were shocked. "!!!" "No way!" Deist cried. Alice suggested that they should rest and have turns taking watch to look out for the scientists. "And I'll take second shift! I'll thwart any scientist who comes here without an invitation," said Deist confidentally. Kain told his son, "And when you start to feel tired, wake up me up, so that I can keep watch until someone else's turn."

Sazh was surprised to hear that this Carbuncle was an Eidolin, similar to his Brunhild. "Heh, well if these eidolins are even half as powerful as the L'cie ones then I think we will pretty much have this in the bag." Sazh added non-chalantly.
Sazh and Rajh were quick to support the idea of resting. Especially after Alice's revelation of her nature as a tracking device. Thier attitudes didn't seem to change when she shared this but both were concerned about the development. They did however feel the need to interject on the shifts. "I don' agreee with you Alice, you and the others are more banged up then my brother or me." Sazh nodded and spoke up too. "If they attack it will probably be sometime in the middle of the night rather than at the start or end." "I propose that we do it like this. Deist will take first shift, Noel will take second, Sazh third, Alice forth, Me fifth and Kain sixth. That way we have our only Eidolin awake during one of the most likely times of an attack while myself and Sazh who took the fewst hits are on the second closest time of any possible attacks. This also gives Alice a chance to rest prior to any possible ambushes." Rajh concluded putting his idea out in the open for the others to discuss. He hoped they would agree but they have have different points of views. "What do you guys think?"
((I've finally figured out which of my character models I will be using for the scientist. Is there a form or something I can start to fill out?))

Kain thought about the plan and found it to be a good idea. "That could work," he said. "Sounds fine to me. At least I get to sleep for the rest of the night after my shift," Deist said smiling as he was quite content with the idea. He also thought that Kain would get to be the early bird to be awake in the morning since he was the one getting the last shift.

((Just minimum information on the scientist would be fine I'm guessing))
Alice took a quick glance around at everyone volunteering but then the two older brothers suggested a more strategic set up. Immediately, the girl shook her head, "No, you all need your rest just as much as I do. I'll gladly take over the entire night watch by myself..." She muttered, "That way we'll have protection from my summoning all... Night..." Suddenly, the girl collapsed into her brother's open arms.
The brown haired boy sighed and couldn't help but give a little soft smile at the girl, "Alright, will go with Sazh and Rajh's plan. She'll take a midnight shift." He picked up the sleeping Alice and looked around, "We'll need to find somewhere to rest." he began, thinking as he looked around the area.

((I forgot to give you the form, Enkie. Here it is: Name: Age: Gender: Additional Information: )) Alice wanted to take over watch over everyone the entire night, but then she fainted into Noel's arms. "Heh, good luck with that!" Deist teased with a small grin, but he was a bit worried at the same time. Noel agreed with Rajh's plan and said that they needed to find somewhere to rest. "Right, let's go look for one," said Kain. He led the group across the rocky bridge on stream to get to the other side. After 10 minutes of trekking through the woods to find a safe spot, they came to a tropical beach resort. Deist looked at the place and said, "Wow, this place looks kind of amazing!" This was something neither he nor his father ever saw back at home. "I know, it's fascinating, but quite unusual for a building to be this close to the ocean. But we're not here to sightsee, we need to get inside that building and rest," said Kain as he looked at the NORA house. So they went inside the building and came to a room with a few beds. ((We're at Bodhum, guys! Also, here's the picture of the beach: i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/Fang21Silva/Cocoon/Bodhum_Beach.png ))

Noel followed closely behind as they wandered through the forest. Eventually, it came out to a large open clearing by the ocean and Noel felt nostalgic. It was the familiar scene of New Bodhum back where Serah and the others lived. He wondered for a moment if everyone else was there as well but quickly dismissed it as wishful thinking, "This shouldn't be here..." Noel muttered, "How could it be here if this is a completely different world?" He wondered aloud as he went inside to set Alice down on one of the beds. It was the same room that Serah had used with Lebraeu, a shattered mirror between the two beds.
Usually, Noel rested in the living room couch that was actually pretty comfortable despite its appearance. However, he wasn't going to go to sleep before Deist took up the first watch. If anything, Noel would stay up until his watch.

((Is it cool if I pop Leviathen during the Rajh's shift? I think I've settled on which Leviathan to use. ^_^ Gotta tell you though, there were sooo many! @.@ i only saw the interior of the NORA house a few times))
The katzroy brothers watched as Alice feinted into Noel's arms. "Well then I guess that settles that." Rajh said in good humor as Noel arried his sister in his arms. The two brothers followed after Deist and Kain Highwind chatting to eachother seeming to have finally gotten along with eachother.
"I can't believe your still using Vegas. Can you get a more outdated gun?" Rajh said commenting on Sazh's weapons. "Hey hey, these 'outdated' guns helped me save the people of cocoon AND bring the hurt on Barthandelus. So don't you go knocking them. Besides your Deneb Duelers aren't exactly recent." Rajh huffed at his brother's defence and counter. "Chyeah righ. They're both more recent and back more punch than your Vega's can hope too, or did you not see me blasting away at that Carbuncle?" "Heh, punch only counts when you hit a spot not already wounded by someone else. That just adding salt to the existing wound." Sazh said to his brother.
The conversation was cut short thoguh when they arrived at the beach front. Sazh's jaw practically dropped off of his face when he saw the all too familier beach of Old Bodhum. On could have easily confused it for New Bodhum if they hadn't already been to Old Bodhum. There was simply no way for this place to be here though. Sazh wasn't the only one who was astonished to see old Boodhum, Noel also seemed amazed the boy went to the beach hut immediately. "This can't be real." He murmered to hismelf in disbelief. Once he heard the voices of Kain and Deist he came to his senses and shook of the shock. Kain was absolutly right, they needed to rest now and be concerned about it later. "That's right Kain." Sazh said following after the Dragoon. He found a place to sit down while Rajh leaned on a wall. "I think it's time we discussed a plan of action." Sazh said getting to the point.

Noel looked up from his seat on the couch, "It's definitely going to be a long night if we happen to be found by a scientist. Even something as powerful as Carbuncle would be bad for us..." He glanced towards the bedroom door, " Especially with Alice in the condition she is now." Noel stood up, getting a little nervous of the night. It was one thing when he was in a dying world; he knew exactly what was out there. But now he didn't know what the wilderness held around them. The young boy paced around the house, ending up being the kitchen counter, propping his elbows on the table, "I have a feeling we'll run into some kind of trouble tonight..." He muttered to himself.
Meanwhile, in the bedroom that previously belonged to Serah and Lebraeu, Alice's eyes opened only slightly as she felt an overpowering presence. It was the same feeling as before that she had felt when they came near Carbuncle. The power of the summonstone as obviously nearby but Alice's lack of strength kept her laying in bed, unable to move. Before she had the chance to get up and warn the others of staying away until morning, she fell back into her sleep.
---
Not too far from the beach home, a young girl sat up on a tree branch. She had watched them go inside, analyzing as they passed. The girl grinned, "A lost wife... An entire population... And a beautiful maiden. All hold something dear." She chuckled a little, "This'll be fun." ((Leviathan has been rebooted soooo many times; it's ridiculous. But I don't see problems with Leviathan during the night.))

When Sazh said that it was time to discuss a plan of action, Kain agreed and said, "Good idea, we have a bit of time before we let Deist take his shift. So what sort of plan are we talking about? Is it about the night watch or our quest against the scientists?" Deist sat down on the couch and listened in on Sazh and Kain's discussion.
((Yeah, go ahead. I'm cool with Leviathan in the middle of the night.))

"The scientists." Sazh said to Kain sticking to the point. "I think what you guys had said earlier, about getting more summonstones, was a good idea but instead of just rounding up some I think we should round up as many as we can. If they're anything like the L'Cie Eidolins then there should be one for each and every one of us and their power should be anything but ignored. I wouldn't have been able to beet Barthadelus and many other's if it weren't for Brunhilde. We need to set out tomorrow and look for these things before the scientists get to us. But I wouldn't know what we are looking for or were to start looking for them. Do any of you have some ideas?" Sazh said opening the topic for some brainstorming. Rajh was quiet, he was digruntled that his brother was still trying to return to an imaginary world and wasn't too keen on pitching in on this quest to go home thing. Still he didn't object or make a scene, he would let Sazh try and protect him along the way until his brother realized that this was his home.

Sazh was right, lots of summonstones would be a lot better than having a few. It would give the team more power to beat the scientists and allow them to adapt to certain situations in battle. When Sazh asked for ideas onw where to look for the summonstones, Kain shook his head and replied, "Unfortunately, I too don't have any idea or leads on where the summonstones might be. All we can do is put our faith into Alice finding them. After all, she can sense summonstones better than any of us can."

"Right, she's our one asset we can afford to lose here." Noel added, "But I'm sure those scientists know that with Alice we'd have a much harder time in finding the summonstones. That's why we need to be extra careful about them." He figured that it wouldn't be long before one of the scientists would come and attempt to either kill of kidnap Alice so their guard needed to stay up just in case. Noel sat on the barstool at the kitchen counter and was reminded of the days he spent at the Nora house and eating Lebraeu's wonderful cooking. Anything tasted better to him than roasted behemoth meat.
---
The little girl slipped off the branch and into the deep darkness of the night. She wandered through the forest that bordered the beach and eventually came to a young woman leaning against a tree, "Demeres," The girl began, "I have something we might be able to use to eliminate one of the group's numbers." She informed with a wide grin.

"So any ideas on how we can throw the scientists off our backs in case we run into them?" Kain asked looking from the Katzroy brothers to Noel. "What do you think, dad? We just do the usual; fight them until they're down," Deist said. That wasn't the sort of answer Kain was looking for; he was just talking about what if they were to run into any devious traps the scientists set up for the team. Well maybe that question should have been asked to Alice. After all, she knows more about them than any of them do. "Well whatever. Alright people, let's get some sleep now. Deist, you go and start your night watch until you get tired. Then you let Noel take his turn," said Kain. "Got it, dad!" Deist replied. Then the dragoon boy went to the NORA house's entrance and took up watch to keep an eye out for scientists. Kain went to lay on the couch and sleep. In the middle of his two hours of his shift, Deist went to look in the kitchen and see if there was any food. Unfortunately, there was nothing. "Ah geeze, I'm hungry! How am I supposed to keep watch while my belly's aching?" Deist asked with a frown. He could back into the woods to hunt for food, but that would leave the team unguarded and vulnerable to the scientists. Later, when Deist started to get sleepy, he went over to Noel and prodded him away. "Hey Noel! Wake up, pal! It's your turn," he said to him.
